If turning off audio enhancements doesn't help, see the next sections for additional troubleshooting. If these steps didn't solve your audio issue, visit your device manufacturer’s website and install the most recent audio/sound drivers for your device. If that doesn't work, try using the generic audio driver that comes with Windows. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling the audio driver (it will reinstall automatically). Make sure your audio driver is up to date and update it if needed. Hardware problems can be caused by outdated or malfunctioning drivers.
